I Need Help With My Alopecia Areata Treatment

It’s amazing what positive things have come out of having lost patches of hair once upon a time. Having gone through a medical hair loss condition and survived this I am now able to help others. Two years ago, I suffered from a condition called Alopecia areata, where patches of my hair would fall out under severe stress or a sudden shock to the system. It was a terrifying experience at the time but I recovered and survived because I was determined to.

Recently, I received a message from a girl who was badly suffering from the same Alopecia condition I had. She wrote to me to tell me that she found my website and felt she could turn to me for help, this moment made me feel very proud because this is what I am here for, to help others who are suffering and looking for an Alopecia treatment.

I personally went through this hair loss condition and without experiencing it at its worst and knowing how to treat it in the right way I would not be able to pass on my advice today. I felt deeply saddened by the girls experience, she was willing to quit at everything in her life because she felt the Alopecia and depression was eating away at her, and what I must say and what I said to her is please do not give up. You are strong and beautiful inside and out and no matter what you can pull through and become a brand new you like I did. I sit here today, alive, happy and blessed and it is one of best feelings to know that I made it through.

The girl who turned to me for help said to me that the Alopecia condition itself was making her stress more, and believe me it will do this and it is completely normal. At first you are scared, you cannot understand its behaviour so you stress more about why it is happening. What you do need to do in this situation is first identify the causes provoking the condition and then this must be handled well and through a natural organic treatment.

Emotions can drive you insane, I remember crying and crying wishing the Alopecia areata would go away but this actually was not good at all for me to cry like that. I learnt to handle those emotions and instead faced it head on and was lucky to have an amazing family and close friends to help me through natural recovery. Please lean on your support group if you can, do not feel ashamed or hide because it is that leaning that will pull you through at the end with your own ability to survive. If you do not have a support network there are always places you can turn to for help, counselling centers or even a church can help. It took me a long time to get my faith and trust back but it was worth believing in again as I am stronger for it now.

Like I said to the girl who turned to me for help, do not leave college because you feel embarrassed by the hair loss please fight it, speak about it and say to yourself you will beat it. One first step to recovery is making your mind strong, this eliminates the mental stress of the condition, from there on there are simple things you can do to hide the patches to feel comfortable in a social environment. The amount of bobby pins I went through is quite funny, but clipping your hair in different styles hides the patches really well!

Just remember you are beautiful inside and out and no matter how people react just know you are loved for who you are. At the end of the day I ended up setting a new hairstyle trend and was known as the flower girl as I wore many flower bands in my hair to cover the patches. I even wore a natural hair wig to feel confident, but you can experiment with anything and it can be fashionable and fun or if you want to just show your natural baldness off as that’s not a problem at all. Alopecia areata only gets worse if you don’t change the way you are and the lifestyle habit you have, so believe in change and you are on your way to recovery.

If you need further advice on my Alopecia treatment I am happy to share this with you, please don’t hesitate to get in contact.

Have a lovely day.
